The March 30 Movement and Viva Palestina! organise an exclusive screening of the documentary, "October 7"

Brussels, Belgium — The March 30 Movement and Viva Palestina! are proud to announce an exclusive screening of the Al Jazeera Investigative Unit's documentary, "October 7", followed by a question and answer session with the director James Kleinfeld. The event is set to take place at Le Piano Fabriek in Saint-Gilles on Monday, April 15th at 7:30 PM.

"October 7" delves into the coordinated attacks carried out by Hamas from the Gaza Strip on October 7th, in an operation named "Al Aqsa Flood". The documentary aims to present a counter-narrative to the prevailing media stories and provides an investigative look into the events of that day.

The Western media, particularly in Belgium, has been dominated by a narrative that has often gone unchallenged, leading to a one-sided view of the conflict. This event seeks to bring balance to the discussion by examining the events through hours of surveillance footage, dashcam videos, personal mobile phones, and cameras worn by deceased Hamas fighters.

The investigative work reveals widespread human rights violations but also challenges many of the most egregious stories that have been circulated following the attack. James Kleinfeld, an award-winning investigative journalist who spent five months undercover infiltrating the American Israel lobby and exposed Israeli espionage in the US, will be present to discuss the making of the documentary and answer questions from the audience.
