March 30 Movement Calls for Arrest of Israeli War Criminal Izak Atia in Türkiye

Our research team has located Israeli war criminal Izak Atia currently vacationing in Türkiye. Atia played an active role in the Gaza genocide, and his presence on Turkish soil is a grave injustice to the victims and survivors of his heinous actions. The March 30 Movement is in the process of filing a case against him and other perpetrators at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

We urge Turkish authorities to arrest Izak Atia immediately. War criminals like Atia must not be allowed to enjoy impunity. The March 30 Movement remains vigilant in monitoring Israeli war criminals and will pursue justice for their actions wherever they are found.

Our legal team is actively working on this case and we are determined to hold Atia accountable. We hope Turkish authorities will fulfill their responsibilities under international law. Recent rulings by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the ICC underscore the obligation of all nations to prosecute or extradite individuals accused of war crimes.

The principle of universal jurisdiction mandates that states have the duty to bring to justice those responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law, regardless of where the crimes were committed. We call on Türkiye to adhere to these legal standards and demonstrate its commitment to justice and human rights.

The March 30 Movement will not rest until justice is served. Israeli impunity must end, and war criminals must be held accountable for their actions. We stand in solidarity with the victims and their families, and we pledge to continue our efforts to ensure that those responsible for atrocities face the full weight of law.
