March 30 Movement Stands Resolute in the Face of Intimidation

Brussels-  In a severe breach of democratic norms and an apparent act of intimidation, three undercover Belgian officers, allegedly acting on directives from Dutch authorities via Interpol, knocked on the door of our president, Mr. Dyab Abou Jahjah, this Sunday. They insisted that he remove a tweet in which he condemned war crimes committed by IDF soldiers, pertaining to complaints by the March 30 Movement.
This request not only undermines the fundamental rights of freedom of expression and political engagement but also signals a worrying trend of international overreach and suppression of activist voices. The tweet in question pertains to legitimate and legal complaints filed against the actions of IDF soldiers from the Netherlands, Belgium, and other countries, accused of engaging in war crimes and displaying genocidal intent on social media platforms.
The #March30Movement condemns this act of intimidation and reaffirms its commitment to the principles of justice, transparency, and human rights. Our movement, grounded in the collective efforts of individuals from diverse backgrounds, will not be swayed by such attempts to silence our advocacy against atrocities and war crimes.
Our resolve is only strengthened by these incidents. We continue to stand firm in our mission to expose and combat Israeli impunity, and to support the rights of Palestinians to live free from oppression and violence. We will not retract our statements or cede our rights to free speech and assembly.
We hereby announce that our lawyers, spread across multiple jurisdictions, are preparing additional complaints against IDF soldiers with dual citizenship who are participating in the Gaza Genocide. We will maintain transparency and communicate on all actions taken.
The March 30 Movement calls upon all individuals of conscience to stand with us in our quest for accountability, justice, and the safeguarding of human rights in Palestine.
Our movement grows stronger each day, bolstered by the unwavering support of those who refuse to remain silent in the face of injustice. Together, we will continue our peaceful, lawful fight for a better world.
